Applications & Materials

  • Recommended for: Terminal disinfection of endoscopes, bronchoscopes, anesthesia equipment, and heat-sensitive medical devices.
  • Compatibility: Optical materials, glutaraldehyde-resistant metals, medical plastics.
  • Caution: Equipment must be thoroughly cleaned beforehand before immersion.

Instructions for Use

Disinfection Procedure:

  1. Completely immerse the pre-cleaned and rinsed equipment in the Phagocide D bath.
  2. Ensure that the channels of hollow devices (endoscopes) are irrigated.
  3. Contact time: 1 hour for 3-log sporicidal activity or 2 hours for 5-log sporicidal activity.
  4. Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with water of appropriate quality (sterile or filtered water according to departmental protocol).

Bath Maintenance:

  1. Daily check the bath concentration using specific control strips.
  2. Renew the bath after 14 days or after treating 25 endoscopes.
